The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, no splits, and no repairs. Its colors are clear, vivid, and bright. The corners are intact with rounding and minor bumping.     Description:
    A beautiful and fully original choice very fine or much better banknote from Egypt. This is the Ten Piastres issued according to the Law Number 50 of 1940. The note is blue on green underprint. The front highly ornate along the edges and has the image of King Farouk within an oval topped with a crown to the right. The back, which is green on light orange underprint is again highly ornate along the border with a central green ornate multi faceted shape with the words Egyptian Currency Note with in. The note is in English and Arabic on both sides. This particular note has the serial number 448378 and is series "K/8". It has one signature that of "Fouad Serag al-Din" minister of finance for the period November 1950 through January 1952. The note has no watermark that we could find. The note is Pick Number 168a. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
